Are you currently spinning ALL the plates in your business?

Are you a female entrepreneur with an established business, but sometimes feel like juggling all of the plates leaves you in a bit of a spin??

Boost and Bloom

You're business savvy...

You've worked hard and built your business from the ground up. You also have a real passion for some of the things you do in your business.  But not all of them.

Here's some of the things you might be doing:

  • Sales conversations
  • Delivery of the service
  • Answering emails
  • Invoicing
  • Dealing with customer issues
  • Marketing and advertising
  • Creating content
  • Team management
  • You are so busy in your business that you don't have time to work on scaling
  • Onboarding new clients
  • Follow up calls/emails with prospective clients
  • Diary management

But really, you should only be doing 2, maybe 3 of the activities on that list.  Yes, really!

What really happens when you're managing
everything
? Read On...

So with all the plates that you're having to keep spinning, you spend less and less time doing the stuff that you truly love to do (and that might be the marketing, or the sales conversations, it's different for everyone) and more and more time dealing with the admin, the emails and the tasks that you really should not be doing.

Here's what can happen (and maybe already is) when you are doing things that aren't your unique brilliance:

  • Burn out - yep, doing everything leads to burn out.  Exhuastion, anxiety, stress, and depression all contribute toward burn out.
  • Your time is devalued - spending time on low-value tasks that can be performed by someone else.
  • You no longer love what you do.  Doing the 'other stuff' zaps the joy out you.
  • Micromanagement - you may have a team, but you often find yourself micromanaging and unable to truly let go of tasks.
  • Your to-do list gets longer and longer - half the time you just think 'it's quicker and easier to do it myself'.
  • You're missing opportunities because the time you should be networking or having sales conversations is spent on admin.
  • You won't scale.  You are so busy in your business that you don't have time to work on really scaling.

It doesn't have to be this way...

Imagine instead that this is your new, normal day:

You have a check in once a week with the team.  You spend the rest of the week working on the stuff that either you TRULY LOVE to do, or that bring you in a whole heap of money.  THAT'S IT.

You break your week down so it works for you.  For example, imagine you have 2 days for potential sales calls, a free day (yes, taking time off from your business to focus on you!), and a day where you make the content and marketing.  THAT'S IT.

“OK, but wait... that’s easy for you to say, I don't have the resources to just hand stuff over”

Right, I hear you!  So hear's what you might be thinking:

"I can't afford to hire anyone else."

A new hire should pay for itself within 3/4 months.  So while the initial outlay might feel like a stretch if it's not quite within your budget, with the time you will save you will be able to complete far more money-generating activities/take on more clients.  Imagine if you spend 3-4 hours a week alone on emails and admin - imagine what you could do with that time! Start that new marketing campaign, take on 2 new clients...your new found time will pay for the new hire.

"I don't have a team yet to delegate to."

No matter if you have a team of zero, or a team of 10, there's no reason for you not to be thinking like a 7 figure business owner - if that's where you want to be.  7 figure business owners do not do their own admin, or answer the support emails, or schedule the media posts.  If you don't currently have a team, or need extra support, our VA Support desk services can also help.

'I already have a team, why don't I just use one of them to hand everything over to?'

We strongly believe that people have their own unique set of talents and skills.  Not every person is well placed to steer an operational ship.  For example, Sam, founder of Boost and Bloom, is a 7724 on the Koble scale - this means she is strategic and methodical and follows through to the end.  Whereas Jess on the team is a 4438, so she loves and thrives on demonstrations and onboarding!  We're all unique.  And we play to those unique abilities.

Chances are, there are people on your team who aren't thriving.  Do you know what the real strengths are for everyone on your team?  Handing over the reigns to someone who is not wired for it can end in you taking everything back within weeks, and then having to sort through and catch up on everything that slipped through the net during that time.

"I am very precious about tasks and would spend as much time double checking, so I may as well do it myself."

We're guilty of this one actually - we have a few people here at BaB that used to be super precious! But actually, we document and implement processes and use task management software so that you can see that things are being done and completed.  We understand it's not easy letting go of control, but don't worry, we can hand hold you through that process. It's not as scary as it sounds, we promise!

We've all been there!

We've all started off as the 'newbie' at some point, we've all been there working late nights and grafting to get our businesses off the ground.  There’s nothing wrong with that. But it's definitely not how it should always be done.

We can show you how to level up and take your business forward.  It's true what they say, it takes a village to raise a child, and it takes a great team to support female entrepreneurs on their business journey.

So how do we actually help?

We take hold of the operational reigns to make sure stuff gets done.  We free up your time, your energy and your diary so that you can focus on those money-making activities, and not worry about the day-to-day running of the business.

We implement processes and procedures to ensure a smooth transition from what is often stored in your head, to having organised operation manuals, clear guidance and well-defined roles within the team.

We work to peoples strengths and loves, so that everyone on the team is working in an area that they thrive in - it means everyone shows up, and no one gets those Monday morning blues!

We work with task management tools that allow us to commit to timescales and deadlines, and ensure tasks are completed correctly and on time.

We ensure that you know your business is being looked after, because your business is our business and we know how important it is to have reassurance in the early days, and for as long as you need it.

About Sam, Founder of Boost and Bloom

I have worked from home since 2012, and started my own business at the start of 2016.  It's gone from strength to strength, but it hasn't been easy!

When I started out, I had a just turned 3 year old, and a 2 month old baby.  I was exclusively breastfeeding, doing all the night feeds, and decided to start my own business.

Crazy, huh?!

I worked long hours and slogged away at doing everything myself...

...If I didn't know how to do something, I'd YouTube and Google and I'd figure out how.

I've learned many things along the way.  I've made some mistakes. I've also made some great decisions. I've invested in myself and the business through mentoring and business programs.

And I've built an incredible team around me.

One of my best decisions was to make sure we all work in our unique set of skills and do what we love.

Fast forward several years and I have a very successful business.

I've had the great privilege of working with some truly amazing and inspiring people (and we still work together today!)

I've helped with many, many 6-figure launches and helped my clients grow to £1m+ businesses.

I am a mum to 3 young children and a wife too, so I know how important it is to have a business that truly works for you...and that you love.

I live in a little Surrey village and enjoy the smaller things in life.

I love running, a nice Savignon and a G&T at the weekend.

I cherish time with my family on local walks and look forward to watching my husband play cricket in summer.  We get away for some sun every year but also explore the English countryside and coast (often with wellies and rain coats 🙈) and love Devon and Cornwall.
